features a sun dial-like design.
To open and close, the lever needs to be lifted.
The latch will swing out a bit and then pull tight.
Screws are included.

Is this an ‘out of 10 star thing? ‘ If so, maybe fair at 6 or 7.
The repro works. Does it’s job and looks great compared to the original. However they only have a washer holding the movement on the bottom, and not hammered on tightly. So I’ve had two break on me – one in shipping, the other from use.
I’d absolutely continue buying these as they look better than the old and are decent repros for my vintage houses (own, restore and rent). But within reason. At $7/ea, why not?
Note these are only LOCKS, not engineered to lift nor give pressure to double-hung windows.
