Passage
Doors that don’t require locking, but have a latch to open and close. Passage doors are often used for general access areas like hallways, closets, and laundry rooms. They are also known as unkeyed knobs.
Privacy
Doors that can be locked from the inside using a button or latch. Privacy doors are often used for bedrooms, bathrooms, and home offices. They usually come with a privacy push-pull pin.
Dummy
Doors that are non-functional and only have a handle for pulling open the door. Dummy doors are often used on closet doors, bifold doors, or other doors that don’t require a latch or lock. They are sometimes installed in pairs for double doors.
