Art Pottery Signed Blue Apple with Lid Antique

This antique teal blue art pottery apple with lid is a piece of as found pottery designed with an apple shape capped by a small stem lid, and it is possibly extremely rare. If you look closely, the lid has a chip on it. This item is marked on the base; however, we are not familiar with the markings. It comes as found and has not been washed or cleaned for fear of removing a possible patina that would be original. It measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches in diameter, and it is vintage pottery.
