Antique Hurricane Shutters used on the Historic River
Street Buildings of Downtown Savannah Georgia.
You can almost hear the cotton carts rolling across
the cobble stone streets with the merchants
and slaves working their crafts. These are very rare items.
We have two pairs and we are selling one pair at a time.
They are extremely rare and in rough shape (you would be too if you were hanging on an
old warehouse brick building for more than 100 years!)
Sheet Steel is rusting and dinged up.
Old heavy duty wrought iron hinges, the wood is a wainscott styling.
Each panel is approx. 82″ tall by 35″ wide by 3″ thick
Approx. 250 to 300 lbs at least per pair
Best place to pick them up is here in Hilton Head or
out at our warehouse in Bluffton or Savannah.
Please ask questions first, these are rough condition and some of the most unique
historical architectural elements that we have had here at our store.
Again, there are two pair for sale (each pair includeds two doors and two arched tops)
